Greetings everyone, and welcome to the brand new website. My good friend John Kofonow and I have spent the last two months getting this little corner of the Internet in shape, and the timing came out just right. I’m leaving for my Great South American Adventure today, opening with a flight to Cartagena, Colombia. I’ll be sending out a lot of missives from down there over the next year, and from points beyond in the year after that. You’ll be able to follow everything here at saidnickfox.com.
I appreciate all of you who’ve been following, reading, lurking, liking and commenting over the past year and a half. As the year has wound down, I’ve been preparing of the next phase of this writing. I’m going to take a flying leap and try to earn a living working from the road. I’ll keep you posted, trying to find stories that make you want to stop few minutes and follow along. Travel and food. Sports and politics. History and the great sense of our place in the world. Interviews. Profiles. A record of what it’s like to be alive at this time.
Stick around. There are many miles ahead and I never forget that all of you are out there, following along. That means a lot to me. There’s a special kind of faith that comes in following along in someone else’s life. I view it as the highest of compliments, and I know that I owe you stories to care about. We’re all suckers for a good story.
I will do my best to hold up my end.
Thank you for being part of mine.
All the good songs,
